Just on an anecdotal basis, I've certainly become more adept with TWiki markup 
over time, using more advanced features (that I need) and even creating my 
own (not yet backported to the real TWiki)--I use TWiki markup for almost all 
my own notes, and was using parts of it in emails and so forth (until I got 
too many complaints). ;-)
