Hi Andrea,
We're using wikis in the non-profit health sector, which doesn't seem to be
your focus. Let me know if I'm wrong though, and I'll circulate within our
communities.
Regards,
Melanie

Dear Fellow Researchers and Wiki Enthusiasts:
My name is Andrea Hester and I am a Ph.D. student at University of Colorado
Denver. I am now in the final stages of my program as I anticipate to
graduate in May 2009. My dissertation involves knowledge management with a
focus on corporate wikis. I am looking at the factors which motivate
adoption and usage of knowledge management systems with a particular
interest in wiki technology-based systems. I am using Innovation Diffusion
Theory as the basis of my model with some additions which I feel are
relevant and worth exploring, again, particularly in the case of wikis.
I am getting ready to deploy my data collection survey. I would greatly,
greatly appreciate any advice on communities or organizations I could
contact to request permission to invite users/workers to participate in my
survey. If you could provide any information, I would be so grateful. I
feel like this is the most difficult part of my dissertation!
Please contact me if you have any advice, or if you have any further
questions about my research. I did participate in a doctoral consortium
this past spring. You can see a very brief synopsis of my dissertation in
the conference proceedings.

Thank you very much,
Andrea Hester
