Dirk,
I was going to keep quiet today because I've said enough and as Janne
quite rightly points out I'm a "here to today gone tomorrow grumbler".
However, I can't help giving praise where it is due (which is why I end
up engaged in trench warfare with so many different blog/wiki syntaxes).
You have done a great job creating the EBNF grammar and this is key to
creating a specification. Indeed, I really do think anyone who has
contributed toward Creole project should be thanked for their effort
(even if it looks to me like their effort is going to go to waste)
because perhaps, with a massive change of attitude, it could be the
first step toward a specification.
And as Janne quite rightly said, my said group is my family, and when
the first thing they want is Glarey red text, I realised that not only
is Creole abysmally inadequate, but even my much fuller featured "wish
list" implementation doesn't have the scope to satisfy the full horror
of an 9 year old's idea of a perfect wiki-page!
And I'm beginning to realise my goal is simply unachievable given the
current lack of any suitable wiki standard.
Mike
