Hi everyone!

A few follow-ups.

I started collecting data to update
http://www.wikicreole.org/wiki/WikiPopularity

Here is: (help please)
http://tikiwiki.org/WikiCreolePopularityMethod

Andi: perhaps there would be a way to track this in wikimatrix instead?

Here is a related chart of 15 wiki engines:
http://tikiwiki.org/Wiki+Landscape

While we are on the topic:

Alexa has a "Wiki Engines" category which tracks "most visited sites"
http://www.alexa.com/browse?&CategoryID=1280164

Freshmeat has a wiki category, sortable by "Popularity", "Rating",
"Vitality" or "Last update"
http://freshmeat.net/browse/1098/

SourceForge recently added a wiki category, sortable by "Rank",
"Activity", "Latest File" or number of "Downloads"
https://sourceforge.net/softwaremap/tro … rm_cat=651
As of 2008-10, not all wiki engine have been added/moved to the
category yet. Also, the stats are only relevant for wiki engines
hosted on Sourceforge.

Social Source Commons, where users can add wiki engines to their "toolbox".
http://socialsourcecommons.org/tag/wiki

Ohloh, where developers can add wiki engines to their "stack".
https://www.ohloh.net/tags/wiki

Finally, you can check out source code activity level at:
http://cia.vc/

Measuring wiki engine "popularity' is very difficult. There was an
attempt to do this for the Open Source CMS systems:

"What is the most popular open source content management system? It's a
simple question with no simple answer. Reliable metrics in this area are
few and far between, while the rhetoric is dense and unreliable - driven
often by both passion and commercial interests."

We have worked on this:

Best regards,

M ;-)
