Actually, the claim on lack of primary research is a pretext. Only a part of
wikipedia articles are, an will ever be, subject of research. A large
proportion of the content of wikipedia simply describes or reports on "existing
things". Where "existing things" means both concrete and imaginary objects.
Where is the primary research on the topic of the following articles?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Judgment_Rites
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Quebec
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P_J_Harvey
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muse_Software
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strawberry_Fields_memorial
Obviously, there was no debate along the deletion process -- usually, there
are, and they can be heavy or even hot. The existence of creole troubles
someone in the wikipedia hierarchy.
