Todays wikis are mostly monolithic web apps, residing on some server. For interoperability and futher fast evolution the community should probablby consider going more towards REST-based service oriented architectures, separating business logic from user interface.

I think the WikiSpam workshop is Sunday, not Monday.

btw, I'm a big fan of the idea to make wikis more modular (see http://www.communitywiki.org/cw?ModularWiki). This topic is also very much on topic for the Interwiki Workshop which we'll both be at.
